March brought a deep and lasting sadness to our organization and community when Debby’s Brother Greg and his wife Kris were unexpectedly taken from this earthly life.

Greg unselfishly gave to our organization by managing our Web site, providing strategic planning, moral support and endless training to his computer illiterate sister.   Kris willingly gave free legal and accounting advice.  We owe them both a tremendous amount of gratitude.

They will be remembered by many organizations including Everyday Miracles, SCORE of Naples , Corkscrew Swamp Sanctuary and the Audubon Society for their generosity both financially and by the countless hours they gave of their time.  Greg had an incredible sense of humor and believed that with a positive attitude, anything could be achieved.  He loved to make people laugh and was thrilled if he could help someone.

Greg and Kris leave a legacy of volunteerism.  They strongly believed that each and every person could and should make a difference in this world.  We will forever miss them and are committed to carrying on their work of making this world a better place for all.

They loved adventure, whether it be in their back yard, travels to a distant place or learning something new.   I see them now on an amazing new adventure.  May they know how much they are loved.  They will be forever missed.

What we do

Everyday Miracles is a charitable, non-profit organization dedicated to reducing health disparities. Our programs provide perinatal education and doula (childbirth assistance) services to low-income mothers with the objectives of improving birth outcomes, parent-infant attachment and breastfeeding skills.

Our Mission

To strengthen families through the parenting experience, by supporting and empowering mothers during pregnancy. We provide pregnancy and labor support as well as prenatal education in a supportive, non-judgmental community for at-risk pregnant women who desire our services, regardless of age or culture.

Our Programs

Our clients receive (at no charge) pre-natal education, doula support, post-partum care. We offer:

• Group prenatal educational classes in both English and Spanish
• Free doula services including prenatal and postpartum visits along with continuous labor support
• Breastfeeding support
• Car seat clinics and home deliver for Ucare and MHP participants
• Breast pump education and delivery for Ucare and MHP participants
