Preparing for birth starts with feeling informed.
In addition to doula services, Everyday Miracles offers childbirth education classes covering pregnancy, labor, breastfeeding, newborn care, and more. Our classes are designed to help families build confidence and prepare for birth.
Frequently Asked Questions
When should I request a doula?
We encourage families to request a doula as early in pregnancy as possible. This gives us the best opportunity to match you with an available doula and allows more time to build your relationship before birth.
Can I request a specific doula?
Yes! If you've met one of our doulas or reviewed our profiles and have a preference, you're welcome to include up to three preferred doulas on your request form. While we cannot guarantee availability, we will do our best to honor your request.
Does insurance cover doula services?
Many Minnesota Medicaid plans and some private insurance plans cover doula services. Contact us if you have questions about your coverage.
Can my partner or support person still be involved?
Absolutely! A doula never replaces your partner or support person. Instead, we work alongside them by providing education, guidance, comfort measures, and encouragement so everyone feels supported throughout labor and birth.
How far do your doulas travel?
Our doulas regularly support families throughout Duluth and surrounding Northland communities. If you live outside our primary service area, please contact us to discuss availability.
